Xnoise 0.1.31 - Media Player For Linux

Xnoise is a simple lightweight audio/video player with great speed and lots of features. Unlike Rhythmbox or Banshee, it uses a tracklist centric design. The tracklist contains a list of audio or video files that are played one-by-one without being removed (right side of window). It enables you to queue any track in any order, regardless if they are on the same album. Tracks or groups of tracks can be re-arranged at any time via drag and drop option.

The media browser displays all the available media metadata in hierarchical tree structure, this makes you very easy to find any single track, artist or album by entering any search term via this tree structure. From this media browser, single or group of tracks, streams, albums, artists or videos can be dragged into the tracklist to every position.

# tar -xvf xnoise-0.1.31.tar.bz2
# cd xnoise-0.1.31
# ./configure

# make install

How To Install Xnoise in Ubuntu
