Which One Will You Choose: Android or Apple?

Apple Vs Android An Apple a day keeps the Android away. Or should it be other way around? Apple’s iOS has created waves all over the planet. Their devices are the dream of every person. But Android has slowly crept up iOS’s spine. With Google’s smartphone platform being used in almost every other manufacturer’s handset, it is surely giving a stiff competition to the supremacy of Apple. But which one will stand out in front, and which one will lose? Read on.

Apple and Android : Will the robot eat the apple? That’s the question in your mind. Both of these platforms are vastly different, and both have pros and cons. So, we will focus on the main issues which make a phone worth.

Ease of Use : First comes the ease of use. You would want your phone to work smoothly. And in this Apple outperforms Android. Different manufacturers use different versions of the Android, so sometimes it becomes difficult to instantaneously get used to the device in question. And different manufacturers may use the phone differently. But Apple has only one button on the device. Easy to understand and easy to use.

Open Source : Android OS is open source. This is what developers love about it. Apple on the other hand is known to reject apps which it finds competitive. This makes Android the winner.

Multitasking : Android has a better multitasking feature than Apple.

Battery Life : Apple has a better battery life than Android. Android has so many features that they drain the battery faster than Apple. Although the battery life varies considerably from manufacturer to manufacturer.

Touch Keyboard : Apple’s touch keyboard is much better than Android’s. Although there are many apps which have some solid keyboards, but the default version provided by Android lags behind Apple’s.

Syncing : Apple has carried forward the old world charm of doing things by the use of wires. Users still have to connect with USB wires for updating their devices, transferring contents. And everything must involve iTunes. So, Android has better syncing capabilities than Apple.

Apps : Now, both of these platforms come loaded with tons of apps. You cannot decide for sure which one is better in the app department. Though if you want to go only with numbers, then Apple has four times the no. of apps than Android. That makes Apple the winner in app department.

Music Player : Apple has a better music player for sure. The Android’s default player has not been liked by users. While Apple’s music player works seamlessly.

Integration with Google apps : If you have a Gmail account, which is very likely you have, then you will benefit immensely by using Android. Android is a Google product, so it’s obvious.

Bitter better? : But, which one is better. Apple has a class of its own. Their devices are the best. But they have their own circle, and one feels limited. Android is being used in a large number of smartphones, which makes it connecting with other devices easier. So, I will say Android is the way forward.
